I have an upcoming surgery myself and was looking for a “checklist” type help guide when I read Ernie Hall’s book. He took me to a whole new level of preparedness. He walks through the process of mental preparation, the physical modifications necessary in the home, recommends items to acquire, and implements them on a “walk through” of his home. The post-op description of the recovery, pain management, and physical therapy was so thorough I could feel it. The best of luck to the author, Mr. Hall.
